We are located in a modest facility, within a late 1920's West Denver brick bungalow.  We like to think our office is comfortable and you will feel welcome and relaxed.  We provide state-of-the-art services and the highest quality chiropractic and acupuncture care available. It is one of our top priorities to protect the well-being of our valued patients. We are confident that you will feel right at home in our office as we welcome all patients as if they were family.

Who We Treat

People who have been unable to find help from conventional medicine; those who have complaint's for which conventional medicine has no diagnosis (can't find anything wrong) and those who have been given a diagnosis, but then been told there is nothing conventional medicine can do about their condition, or when conventional treatments have been tried, but have failed.

Those who do not like prescription medications and/or want to avoid surgery, believing that there might be a natural alternative as well as those who are disappointed with, or afraid of conventional medicine. People who “don't like doctors” feel comfortable coming to see us.

People who want the “best of both worlds” by having a doctor integrate chiropractic care, acupuncture, nutritional support and functional diagnostic medicine with their conventional medical treatments. Conventional Diagnostic and Functional Laboratory testing are also available. 

People who consider health a priority in their lives and want the best possible health care program. These folks are relatively healthy and wish to maintain their health or extend the quality of their health into their later years. For these people we design custom wellness plans that help their body avoid diseases that may run in their family to ensure they stay vital into old age.

Financial Issues  ( 3 reasons I don’t take insurance as a chiropractic physician (hint: it’s in your favor! )

Our office is moving away from the health insurance industry.  After 43 years of accepting insurance, it is time to cut the increasingly burdensome connection. 

Summarized, I no longer take insurance because I do not want insurance telling me what I can and cannot do for my practice members.

In general, insurance companies are not focused on any preventative or wellness services. They were designed for quick, short-term symptom and disease care and treatment which is heavily invested in the conventional model of health care that too often relies on drugs and surgery.

Another healthcare provider I have studied with had said... “Insurance-based medicine is not evidence-based medicine.” Realize that what our culture calls health care is actually “sick” care, since it has little to do with advancing true health. It’s mostly about suppressing symptoms while ignoring the underlying cause. I am committed to a vitalistic model that addresses the underlying causes of your symptoms with gentle + specific, nervous system focused chiropractic adjustments.

Now, if you have a policy it will probably help with at least some of the expense of your sick care. But few policies pay for things that help us keep our health.

Most insurance does not cover chiropractic care for children. I am not willing to exclude the segment of the population that chiropractic care can benefit and impact the most. It is, and always will be, easier and less expensive to grow healthy children than to repair damaged adults.

The great news is that by not having to deal with insurance companies, office costs are kept down, so I can offer affordable chiropractic care for the whole family. My prices are usually cheaper than a co-pay, but if you have chiropractic coverage, I will gladly provide you with the necessary documentation to get reimbursed if you’re willing to file yourself.

Our office services can be paid out of a  Health Savings Account (HSA)  or  Medical Flex Spend. For our cash patients, we have a " at the time of service " payment discount plan we would be happy to discuss with you during your initial New Patient visit.

We will do everything we can to help you afford the treatment you need and want. Forms of payment accepted by the office are  CHECK , CASH , or most major credit cards ( VISA ,  MASTERCARD ,and DISCOVERY ).

Insurance Companies We Will Continue to Work With

  • VA and TriWest - Veterans Community Care Program  (As a Veteran, Dr. Holland will continue to provide our Country's Veterans with best care possible)
  • Colorado State Workers' Compensation Insurance (we are a Level 1 Provider)  On-the-job injuries cannot be ignored and the patient's financial means.

Cancellation Policy

Appointments must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. If an appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, and we are able to fill that appointment time, there will be no charge. If not, there will be no charge the first time. After that, the normal fee will be charged. If an appointment is forgotten (a patient does not come or call) there will be no charge the first time. After that, the normal fee will be charged. Weather-related exceptions will be considered, as well as legitimate emergencies.
